Volunteering at Field!
The PTO could not do all of the amazing things it does without the dedicated group of volunteers who are so generous with their time and efforts. Involvement with the PTO is a wonderful way to get to know the school, staff, students and other parents. There are many different ways to get involved. We encourage you to learn more about the events and activities that the PTO sponsors and volunteer where you can.
All volunteers who will be working with students on campus or on field trips need to be registered through the school district’s Volunteers in Public Schools program, or VIPS. For more information, click here.

We have a few volunteer opportunities coming up. Here are the links!
Let's get creative! We have 25 bulletin boards available throughout the school and so we are looking for 25 volunteers to assist with putting together the boards for display between 7/22- 8/2. (Volunteers can enter from 7:30 - 3:30 from 7-22 through 8-2). Hallway boards should be about motivation; inspiration; positive attitudes/behaviors; college readiness; affirmation; technology; Healthy choices & Nutrition (for the 2 in the cafeteria); academic / school related.
Volunteers will need to share their ideas ahead of time so that we can gain approval from admin team. Details in sign up! The sky is the limit, let your artistic side shine. Please make sure you are VIPS approved if you'd like to help! When you sign up, please make sure to place your ideas and what date you'll be able to make it in the comments so we can give the school a heads up. Dates to decorate bulletin boards: 7/22 - 8/2. (Volunteers can enter from 7:30 - 3:30 from 7-22 through 8-2).
Parent Orientation Meetings
We need parents to help at the 3 dates for Orientation to staff the Merchandise Table & PTO Information Table and to be a Greeter!
WHEN? Monday 7/29/24 from 5:30 - 7:00PM
Tuesday 7/30/24 from 5:30 - 7:00PM
Wednesday 7/31/24 from 5:30 - 7:00PM
We are looking for volunteers on Tuesday & Wednesday mornings from October – May to help the classes plant, weed, water and more.
Volunteering starts at 8am and ends at 12pm. We have 20 minute shifts throughout that time span. Only time for one class? We’d love to have you! Get dirty, have fun, and be a part of the flourishing gardens at Field. No gardening experience? No problem! We have a lot of parents learning. Simple lessons are shared each week to help guide a class of 8-9 students maximum. All supplies are provided.

Dollar Dress Friday
Every first Friday of the month volunteers are needed to collect $1 and issue stamps to our fashionably dressed students. Volunteers are needed from 7:00am - 7:45am! You must be registered and approved through the VIPS system. This is a fun and easy way to help the PTO raise funds for our Field Lions!

Campus Improvement Committee
We are looking for volunteers to join our campus improvement committee. We have a mix of indoor and outside activities to help keep Field in top condition for our students!
We also have a Campus Improvement Day every few weekends, where anyone and everyone is welcome to come help clean up our campus!
