 Welcome to Field Elementary! 

We've included a few tips below to ensure you are ready to go for the 2023 - 2024 school year!

Please be sure to check back for the latest updates regarding back-to-school information. 

SCHOOL HOURS:  7:30am TO 3:00pm

Drop off at Front Gate on 17th Street as early as 7:05am

MEALS:

BREAKFAST is provided to all students free of charge. Breakfast is held in your child’s classroom.

LUNCH is provided to all students for free. Additional snacks & treats may be purchased during lunchtime.

Payments can be made in CASH to the HISD Food Services cashier in the cafeteria

JOIN YOUR STUDENT FOR LUNCH:

One week per month Field will host Parent's Lunch Week where you are able to join your student(s) for lunch during their regular lunch period. Outside food is allowed. Please limit to 2* attendees due to limited space. *To attend, you MUST be VIPS approved.

 

 

VIPS (Volunteers in Public Schools):

To be eligible to volunteer at Field Elementary, chaperone on field trips or attend lunch with your student(s), you MUST be VIPS approved. Final approval can take up to 3 weeks so Register today! 

Note: You are required to register every year!  

COMMUNICATION:

Field Elementary: uses Class Dojo for all communication

You will be invited to join Class Dojo by your student’s teachers and we highly encourage you to do so to receive information directly from your child's teacher and Field Admin.
