The Field Elementary PTO is thrilled to partner with Houston-area fine arts organizations to help support a robust fine arts education for all students at Field Elementary. From classical music concerts to STEM-integrated theater arts workshops, the PTO provides access to world-class fine arts experiences from some of the best and brightest arts organizations right here in our own backyard!
Our 2025-2026 Fine Arts Partners include:
- Alley Theatre (https://www.alleytheatre.org/)
- Arts Connect Houston (https://www.artsconnecthouston.org/)
- Art League Houston (https://www.artleaguehouston.org/)
- The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion (https://www.woodlandscenter.org/education)
- Performing Arts Houston (https://performingartshouston.org/education-community-overview/)
- University of Houston Public Art Department (https://publicartuhs.org/)

Staging STEM+ actively integrates theatre arts instruction with TEKS-aligned STEM curriculum. During a five-day residency, professional teaching artists work with students and teachers to deliver theatre arts activities that reinforce science concepts - deepening understanding of curriculum while building collaboration, communication, and creative problem-solving skills.
Alley Theatre

The Brainstormers and Their Cosmic Mission brings the magic of live theatre directly to our school! This fast-paced, interactive adventure blends STEM learning with outer space exploration.
This year’s Alley Theatre partnership is generously funded by a
Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion 2025-2026 Arts Resource Grant.
Art League Houston
ArtBound!, presented by Art League Houston, is an artist residency program that emphasizes hands-on creative projects that utilize the arts to develop students’ social-emotional learning skills and align with broader curriculum goals.

Performing Arts Houston
The Concert Truck, presented by Performing Arts Houston, brought world-class chamber music directly to Field through a traveling 16-foot box truck transformed into a mobile concert hall. Students were treated to a live concert featuring both classical music and some very familiar favorites!
University of Houston Public Art

University of Houston’s Public Art department conducted a one-week school-wide residency to share information about UH’s public art collection and to provide students with hands-on instruction in designing and decorating art bikes. These bicycles - collaborative student art projects - will be publicly unveiled at the Orange Show’s 2026 Art Bike Parade.
