Pass the Pride - 5th Grade & Kinder Event

✨A new Field Elementary tradition is born!

🦁 “Pass the Pride” will be a way for our Fifth Graders to welcome the new Kinder students, help them feel comfortable and excited about being at Field, and give our Fifth Graders an opportunity to step into their roles as leaders and role models.

💙Then, at the end of the school year, we’d flip it around, with the Kindergarteners doing something special to send the Fifth Graders off—creating a fun tradition that connects the two grades throughout the year.💛

🗓️ To kick things off, we’re thinking about a simple Sunday activity, on August 23, “hosted” by the Fifth Graders at the Lodge. Fifth grade students can sign up for different roles, such as handing out popsicles, leading sidewalk chalk art, helping with face painting, making bracelets, etc.

The goal is to keep it very simple and fun—something that gives the Fifth Graders a sense of pride while making our new Kindergarteners feel welcomed and special! 🦁
